Mathias Louboutin
Senior Solution Architect
Mathias is the Senior Solution Architect at Devito Codes, with over a decade of experience in developing scalable, open-source software for exploration geophysics and inverse problems. He holds a Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and was previously a research scientist at the Seismic Laboratory for Imaging and Modelling (SLIM), where he led the development of the JUDI framework. Mathias has been integral to the Devito project since its inception, advancing its capabilities in large-scale PDE-constrained optimization, finite-difference solvers, and cloud-native high-performance computing. His work also extends to cutting-edge applications in exascale HPC, machine learning, and medical imaging, positioning him as a key innovator in the field.
