Ed is a geophysics research scientist at Devito Codes, specializing in seismic wavefield modeling and numerical methods. He recently earned his PhD from Imperial College London, where he developed innovative techniques for handling topography in finite-difference grids, resulting in the creation of the Schism software framework. Ed's expertise extends to seismic imaging, boundary conditions, and full-waveform inversion (FWI).
